The app is also getting a Personal Library, so users can track their learning progress and manage downloaded tutorials from a single place. The Explore tab has been completely redesigned, and labs are now organized by topic, making it easier to discover new content. With the iPhone version, Tinkerstellar also introduces a refreshed design. This means that users can have all the same Python tutorials available on the iPad right from their pockets. However, as detailed by the developer, the app now works with the iPhone as well. Tinkerstellar was first developed with the iPad in mind. Tinkerstellar is now getting a major update, adding new lessons, a refreshed interface, and for the first time, an iPhone version. Hopefully my experience along with the warnings of others will save some inconvenience for others.I wrote last year about Tinkerstellar, a new iPad app inspired by Apple’s Swift Playground that’s designed to help people learn Python through multiple interactive lessons. I only wrote this review in response to UA sending me emails to write one. I also hope they expand to 8 channels in the volt line. With those introducing an unacceptable amount of noise, it’s a NO Go for me. Seriously, the UA comp and vintage mode, along with the quality preamps were my reason for purchasing it. The air mode works and sounds very good, and it doesn’t add noise. The preamps alone in the UA sound a bit better than a Scarlett. I bought it after reading negative reviews hoping it wouldn’t be an issue. Especially, when adding small amounts of comp. It’s not the nature of adding compression or a vintage mode mode to add this much noise. I would not waste time putting my recordings through with the comp and vintage mode on. But I bought specifically for the quick use of the comp and vintage 610 modeling. ![]() The comp and the vintage mode add an unusable amount of noise.
